Lactoferrine 150 mg

Through breastfeeding, children receive a broad package of beneficial microbiota, more than 150 types of prebiotics and other building blocks (including Epidermal Growth Factor, Insulin Growth Like factor, lactoferrin (protein), secretory IgA, lysozyme, interferon, phagocytes), this is good for developing the gut microbiome and (intestinal) defences. But these microbiota and building blocks are also beneficial for adults.
Lacto refers to milk and ferrin to iron. Lactoferrin has the property of binding iron. Our lactoferrin is combined with vitamin C, this combination supports iron absorption in the body and reduces fatigue, it captures free radicals and helps protect healthy tissues and cells. It also supports the immune system. Lactoferrin supports in reducing the release of histamine by mast cells.
Lactoferrin is filtered after extraction to ensure 95% purity. This also means it is free of lipopolysaccharides (LPS). This substance naturally co-occurs with lactoferrin in milk, reducing the effect of the protein, as the nutrients have opposite effects in the body and can suppress each other.
Many pathogens in our body live on iron, so it is beneficial to take the iron away from the pathogens.
Vitakruid's Lactoferrin can be used as a supplement to infant milk. The capsule can be opened and the powder can then be added to the milk.

Safety
The advice is if there is a cow's milk allergy not to take lactoferrin.
The capsules protect against gastric acid.
Intake: 1 to 2 capsules per day. Take preferably around meals. Stick to the recommended dosage. During pregnancy and lactation: 1 capsule per day.
Keep out of the reach and sight of young children. Store in a dry place and at room temperature (15 - 25 °C). Do not place in direct sunlight.
